Amazon freezes sales after a price drop to $17.99 to match Best Buy causes them to lose money. Amazon tells Maxi-Matic that it could make a "straight payment" to bring it back "live".

... We have put best buy out of stock and are following up w/ them on why they had it at 17.99, that is an insane price.
We’d like to propose giving amazon exclusivity on this item for 90 days which should allow you to recoup your losses by selling at a retail higher than $59.99 w/ no competitors in place. If after those 90 days, there is still a difference we will process a straight payment ...
