The Belfast East constituency stretches from the outskirts of Belfast city centre to encompass the Harland and Wolff shipyard, traditionally working class terraced housing and affluent suburbs. It was a Democratic Unionist party stronghold until Alliance’s Naomi Long took it in 2010. The DUP’s Gavin Robinson wrested it back in 2015 and 2019. Robinson and Long are facing off again
