Hello everyone. I’m sending this email to connect folks directly to one another. I know we’ve all met before and interacted in various FITCOG meetings and during the recent Gun Violence Reduction Ordinance group discussion, so I won’t make this too formal. I’ve communicated with each of you directly about this, and you’ve all agreed, so this email is being sent so you may see one another’s email addresses and communicate directly.

I’m aware there is some desire to coordinate a followup presentation for the FITCOG. I’ll step back and let you coordinate that.

As we are all aware, Lt Duilio, Edith Thrower and I are all public employees. We are subject to a number of rules and public information laws. The City of Portland is lucky to have a dedicated group of private citizens such as yourselves who serve as volunteers. I would encourage you to share your contact information if you are comfortable doing so in order to improve communications amongst yourselves throughout this process.
