1. Kharkiv region – Ukrainian officials say Russia’s main attack was focused near the towns of Slobozhanske and Donets, along a road linking Kharkiv with Izium.
2. Izium – Kharkiv’s regional governor said Russian forces were intensifying attacks from the city but Ukrainian troops were holding their ground.
