France’s Sanofi – a large producer of insulin and vaccines – will hold 16 weeks of supplies, on average, in the UK from April, rather than the usual 10 weeks.

It has been hiring extra warehouse space and shifted all testing, labelling and packaging for all medicines destined for the EU from Haverhill to the continent.
