The Anglo-Swedish group is preparing for parallel testing of drugs at its Swedish site in Gothenburg.

 

The company behind the cholesterol pill Crestor and cutting-edge cancer treatments is spending up to £50m on measures including revising transport routes and boosting stockpiles of medicines. It is lifting inventories from three months’ supply to four in warehouses in the EU, and to four and a half months in the UK.
