The chief executive of the Italian-owned helicopter maker, Alessandro Profumo, has said a no-deal Brexit ‘would be a problem because we have a significant presence in the UK’, with helicopter parts crossing in and out of the country repeatedly.
The Italian defence group, which bought AgustaWestland in 2016, said it was crucial for the UK to remain engaged with EU defence programmes.
