How to remove a tick
Most ticks do not carry diseases or cause serious health problems, but it is important to remove the tick as soon as you find it
1 Use fine-tipped tweezers to grasp the tick as close to the head as possible. The goal is to remove the entire tick including its head and mouth
2 Slowly and carefully pull upwards with steady, even pressure. Be careful not to twist as this can cause the tick to break
