Adopt a sideways stance and flick the wrist as you throw and release the stone

Throw as forcefully as possible and keep as low as you can, bending the knees

Let it hit the water at an angle of about 20 degrees
Holding the stone
Keep your thumb on top, and your index finger hooked along the edge
Hold the stone between your thumb and middle finger, which should support the stone underneath
