The map shows projected deficits for each of these areas for 2020/21 if no action is taken between now and then. These come from two sources. The first are NHS projections, which are shown in yellow. Those in blue are estimates provided by Incisive Health on behalf of the campaign and lobby group 38 Degrees, most of which are calculations based on mid-2014 population estimates.
