On a mission to help more up-and-coming creatives and encourage a new generation of makers, the master craftspeople behind handcrafted single malt scotch whisky The Balvenie have launched The Makers Project. Culminating in a unique spoken word event at the Barbican, The Makers Project is a deep dive into the journeys, practices and processes of the country’s creative greats. It is asking the likes of visual artist Tishk Barzanji to write and read out letters to their younger selves.
The Balvenie is also offering more makers the opportunity to expand their creative horizons, with the chance to win one of three Guardian Masterclasses.
