Wines of change

Australian wine producer Lindeman's is determined to address its environmental impact, working with the Carbon Trust to make its European products carbon neutral.

“Lindeman’s is committed to making positive change and a more sustainable future,” says Michelle Brampton, managing director for Treasury Wine Estates, parent company of Lindeman’s. “Our commitment to carbon neutral is a step towards this.”

As part of this drive, Lindeman’s is committed to a “closed loop” for all packaging by 2025 – meaning waste will be recycled to produce new products, rather than going to landfill.

“We want to make more sustainable choices easier for consumers, meaning that they don’t need to change where they shop or how much they pay to be able to enjoy a great wine, without the carbon footprint to go with it,” she says.
