How pelvic floor exercises can boost your sex life

TENA believes that pleasure comes through confidence. That’s why it has partnered with intimate brand Je Joue, creator of the Ami three-step Kegel set. These weighted balls help tone your pelvic floor muscles, as well as giving you subtle pleasure. Over time this can lead to stronger orgasms as well as help improve bladder control.

No Kegel balls? No problem. Try these simple pelvic floor exercises instead. Start with a “little squeeze”, clenching as if you were holding in a wee. Draw that squeeze up through your body, squeezing with maximum strength for one second, then relax for six seconds. Repeat this five to 10 times. Next, try a “big squeeze”, drawing it up through your body then hold, hold and hold some more. Start with what you can handle and clench again, if you lose it. In time, you’ll be able to hold for longer and increase endurance. Try and do a “big squeeze” after every “little squeeze” session – together this counts as a set, and it’s ideal if you can do 10 sets, three times a day.
