Selco runs grassroots operations across India that market, sell, install and service clean energy products for lighting and other business needs. Selco is concerned with building an ecosystem that makes renewable energy accessible, affordable and sustainable for those who have, until now, been unable to have it. Selco estimates its impact to have affected the lives of around 7.5 million people since it was set up in 1995 – both lighting homes and fitting energy systems to improve learning and working conditions. The company is aiming to help another 10 million in the next five years.
