Christmas morning breakfast eggs
Fold a few generous spoonfuls of Boursin garlic and herbs soft cheese through some just-cooked buttery scrambled eggs. Spoon on to toasted sourdough bread and top with thin slices of crispy pancetta.
Nordic salmon canapes
Smear Boursin garlic and herbs soft cheese on to small squares of dark rye bread, top with gravlax or smoked salmon, pickled cucumbers and a small sprig of fresh dill.
Sticky baked figs
Halve a couple of handfuls of ripe figs, drizzle with honey and a little balsamic vinegar, and bake until soft and sticky. Crumble over Boursin black pepper soft cheese and serve with a punchy rocket and watercress salad as a Christmas starter.
Stuffed turkey
In a bowl, combine a pack of Boursin fig & nuts cheese with some finely chopped smoked bacon and a small handful of chopped fresh thyme. Stuff the mixture under the skin of your turkey before roasting until golden and crisp.
Leftover roast ham pasta
Shred any leftover roasted Christmas ham and toss generous spoonfuls of Boursin garlic and herbs soft cheese, a little wholegrain mustard and wilted baby leaf spinach through just-cooked tagliatelle. Bundle into deep bowls for a thrifty, creamy leftover dinner.
