We're hiring!

Join the Guardian US interactive team

Who we are

We're a small team of journalist-programmers working in the Guardian's US office in New York. We write code, wrangle data and design graphics to tell innovative stories and add context to the news. Over the past year, we made ambitious data visualizations, public service news applications and epidemiological simulations. We told data-driven stories and made games and gifs too. We built The Counted. We're making elections great again.

Who you are

You can tell a compelling story using JavaScript, whether by building robust stand-alone applications or combining writing with explanatory graphics. You have lots of new, creative ideas for how to deliver news. And, most importantly, you thrive in a highly collaborative work environment that encourages experimentation.

The previously posted job has been filled, but we'll add new openings here in the future. In the meantime, feel free to drop us a line at interactive.us@theguardian.com.
